A non-slip silicone base mat protects the drawer and stops tools sliding each time it opens. Small movable dividers hold long or oddly shaped pieces in place without glue, so the arrangement can change as the kitchen changes.
A layout that is easy to maintain
Frequently used tools belong together in the first drawer; less-used pieces can move to the next. Grouping by use matters more than making every row perfectly symmetrical. The best system is the one that makes returning each item obvious.
